Bow Release

Archery Releases Available from Racine Archery Pro Shop

Get your releases for archery bows at the most complete archery pro shop in Southeast Wisconsin – Shooters Sports Center. A release is a trigger method for launching your arrow instead of using your fingers. Releases offer the advantage of perfect arrow launching consistently since the arrow is fired by trigger release instead of finger release.

Different releases provide unique advantages to your archery. Most of these pros are comfort related and dependant on personal preference and the sort of archery you're doing. Naturally, any new release is going to take some getting used to. We recommend trying out as many different styles as you can to see which feels the best in your hands. Some releases are triggered by your index finger, some by your thumb, and others by added draw tension beyond a certain threshold. It's all dependant on your preference, and our archery experts can help you find the best release for your style.

We carry several different releases for your recurve or compound bows. The styles we offer are:

-Back tension
-Trigger
-Bar

We also provide different strap designs for use to help release the arrows including:

-Lanyard
-Buckle
-Velcro strap

You can find the release most convenient to you right here or in person at our Racine storefront location. We’ll answer all your questions and help you anyway we can. If you want to test a release, our indoor archery range is available for use.

Contact the Racine bow release specialists at Shooters Sports Center for any questions or inquiries you might have.
